UberCable is looking for 1099 contractors to fulfill cable technician positions for major Cable and Internet providers.
UberCable platform connects telecom contractors and service providers. We teach, organize and support. You ride, install and get paid.
Job Description:
- Install and troubleshoot cable boxes, internet modems and routers;
- Run coaxial cable, indoor and outdoor;
- Customer education and product demonstration.
Qualifications:
- Good communications skills
- Understanding of home electronics (TVs, sound bars, smart devices)
- Basic IT skills(set up Wi-Fi, install apps)
- Basic construction skills(power and hand tools)
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License;
- Being able to pass a nationwide background check and drug screening;
- Must be able to lift 75 lb
- Ability to work at heights(28' ladder)
- Work a flexible schedule including most weekends
- Able to work in all outdoor conditions
