Summary/Objective:

If you seek a challenging consultative business experience, conducting in-depth industry research for fortune 1000 clients and collaborating with a dynamic team, please join us. We are seeking professional and intellectually curious professionals who, through primary and secondary source research, development of industry and company profiles and other qualitative analysis, will become experts in their industries while helping C-Suite professionals and Private Equity firms make critical business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform extensive data gathering of prospective targets, industries, and markets via primary and secondary source research
• Assist in the development of a pipeline of companies in a variety of industries that meet clients’ investment criteria
• Analyze qualitative data to uncover industry, company, and market trends
• Collaborate and communicate with the team to qualify businesses to identify their divestiture posture, ownership structure, revenue, EBITDA, actionability and growth strategy
• Participate in the creation of written profiles on companies to present to potential buyers
• Participate in team and client meetings to collaborate on research findings

Qualifications:

• Completed or enrolled in BA/BS degree program in Business, Marketing, Economics, Library Sciences or related field.
• 1-2 years of prior work experience in consulting or other related professional services firm
• Proficiency in Internet research, CRM, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated interest in business research as shown through coursework or professional experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to manage multiple projects with various deadlines
• Proven ability to take initiative on projects
• Solution focused problem-solving skills
• Enjoys working on a team as well as independently
