New Vision Display (NVD) is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to continue to grow our recent Residential Solar Battery Solutions division. The BDM will be responsible for directing all day-to-day activities and establishing successful strategies to promote growth and new business acquisition. To be considered for this position, applicants must have at least 5 years of professional experience in the residential solar industry (especially with solar battery solutions), and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and/or new business development.

This position is based out of our Elgin, IL sales office and reports to NVD’s Chief Sales Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Define business priorities through a broad spectrum of market and technological needs.
  • Drive business development activities that will strengthen, expand, and drive market penetration.
  • Develop new strategic alliances with key customers.
  • Work closely with Program Management, Engineers, and CSC to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze and understand target markets, future product plans and expansion activities, and align NVD resources where mutually beneficial.
  • Support senior management with active regular communication and reports.
  • Achieve revenue, funnel targets and actively generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years previous experience in solar panel or alternative energy integration
  • Minimum 3 years experience in sales/business development
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Highly driven, organized, and
  • Ability to travel extensively within the USA and occasionally overseas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
