Breakfast Cook Job at Martinez Hospitality
We are seeking Cooks to join our team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and assembling food items as well as operating kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for food, and has previous experience in the restaurant industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Maintain a safe working environment for kitchen staff and customers.
- Learn food safety and sanitation methods to minimize public health risks.
- Follow recipes meticulously.
- Test food products for quality and freshness.
- Batch cook meat, poultry, and fish; season, marinate, and prepare for service.
- Provide great customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, making recommendations and assisting with orders (e.g., side items); clean tables; maintain clean grill; operate cash register; set up/break down tables.)
- Use cooking equipment (e.g., grills, deep fryers, microwaves) to prepare food and maintain restaurant hygiene standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
