Immediate opening for Part Time or Full Time Bookkeeper to work in our rapidly growing company specializing in interior-floral-exterior landscapes for business. Our office is located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable – Manage customer account balances for cash flow purposes, invoice customers, reconcile discrepancies, communicate and build relationships with customers.

Accounts Payable - Manage company accounts payable for cash flow purposes including posting and paying bills, reconciling statements, communicating and building relationships with vendors.

Bank Accounts and Company Credit Cards - Manage bank deposits, monthly bank and card reconciliations and related accounting entries to properly track cash flow.

Commissions - Tracking and processing monthly sales commissions.

Other - Track, record and resolve issues related to other payments received on behalf of customers and any unapproved credits taken by vendors.

Qualifications:

Education – Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred

Professional experience - Minimum of two years of increasing responsibilities within corporate Finance Departments.

QuickBooks experience - High proficiency and documented experience required, including experience with and understanding of inventory and purchase orders.

Effective communication skills - Ability to communicate in a clear and concise professional manner both verbally and in written correspondence.

Professional attitude - Self-starter with a positive "can-do" attitude, desire and ability to be part of the solution for any issue, and motivated to produce quality work and meet all deadlines.

Microsoft Office experience - High proficiency with Excel, utilizing formulas and functions to perform detailed financial analysis, including creating, updating and linking worksheets.
