ABOUT THE POSITION: Great entry-level position with room for growth. Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment. The Board Stacker’s job is to create value by safely removing assigned lumber grades from the green chain and stacking the boards on designated cob allowing for maximized process flow.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To pull assigned lumber grade from green chain
• Stack boards, place them properly and align stickers between each layer of lumber.
• Misc. duties as assigned, such as, help others stack lumber, when your assigned grade is not available.
• Perform clean-up in their respective areas or other areas as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good communication skills are necessary
• Ability to work around moving equipment
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Flexibility and willingness to be cross-trained
• Willing to accept other tasks on the green chain, different than regular assignments, when asked.

• Must be able to safely navigate the production facility, OSHA compliant. Normally this person is standing or walking around the facility interacting with team members. Appropriate safety shoes for standing on concrete flooring is recommended.

• Required to lift, retrieve, or reposition products weighing up to 60 pounds.
