JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Billing and accounts receivable
  • Bank deposits and processing credit card deposits
  • Data entry and account reconciliation
  • Accounts receivable and account payable management
  • Analysis of entries related to prepaid expenses, expense accruals and revenue recognition
  • Prepares weekly analyses of payments to major providers
  • Process and record claim refunds and returned checks
  • Coordinate with claims department on processed claims
  • Manage daily/weekly bank transactions
  • Maintain receipts log and scanned receipts
  • Ability to correct books and ready them for tax preparation
  • Develop system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts
  • Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Set up new projects with their budgets
  • Produce monthly financial statements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Tax Software, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xcel and basic computer skills
  • Ability to apply root-cause technicals in order to solve problems
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting
  • Proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to make decisions
  • Energetic, outgoing, driven, and ambitious

AVAILABILITY:

We are looking for someone who is committed to working a full-time position.

COMPENSATION:

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Additional bonuses and raises are available after the probationary period.
