Bartender - Shawnee Job at Hereford House
Summary of Position:
The primary responsibility of a Bartender is to provide our guests with outstanding food, beverages, and service in a warm and friendly casual upscale dining atmosphere. A professional Bartender will be thoroughly familiar with the product, server sequence, financial responsibilities, merchandising, and sales techniques. They will work as a team with other staff members to make each Guest a repeat Guest.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Greeting the Guest
2. Merchandising and Suggestive Selling Techniques
3. Order taking (dining and to-go orders)
4. Gift Certificate sales
5. Properly ringing up food & beverage
6. Product delivery
7. Quality control
8. Bar maintenance
9. Check presentation & reconciliation
10. Inviting the Guest back
11. Opening, running & closing side work
12. Maintenance of work area
13. Financial reconciliation of sales
14. Other duties as specified by managers
Experience:
Previous restaurant and sales experience are helpful but not necessary. Good communication skills are essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $8.00 per hour
