Apprentice Technician - Fowler Chevrolet

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs.

  • Assists assigned technician as needed.

  • Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier

  • No Experience Necessary willing to train

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Compensation

$25.00 - $39.00 per flag hour based on experience and qualifications
