Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for handling all aspects ordering, receiving, issuing, storing, and tracking inventory levels of products that are purchased by the hotel.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handles ordering, receiving, issuing, storing, and tracking inventory of products.
Ensures that new products and pricing are updated in the Birchstreet
Procurement system.
Communicates with Accounting Manager (Cost Control) to ensure
Birchstreet accuracy.
Communicates with all other Department Managers and assists with needs
and inquiries and timely deliveries of requisitions.
Ensures timely delivery of all invoices to Accounting AP clerk for payment
processing and timely delivery of all close-out reports for month-end closing.
Ensures adherence to all corporate purchasing policies and procedures such
as requisition processes, inventory controls and organization within the
designated storage areas.
Adhere to hotel procedures of ordering/receiving/issuing of goods to outlets;
and maintaining cleanliness of stores at all times.
