- Confirm/reconcile daily trading ledgers (e.g., whitesheets) for all Capital Market Solutions products
- Monitor the respective Desks’ Home Page; check for secondary UITs and replace to new deposit, as well as termination pricing, client eligibility, discrepancies, duplicate and pending trades, update rollover indications and syndicate offerings
- Review and correct any trusts overridden as secondary, restricted indications and upcoming restricted next series trusts
- Check ‘ServiceWorks’ cases for market exposure and communicate outstanding cases to Trade Support
- Update weekly UIT Sales Summary; update and manage quarterly FA Index
- Assist in data research and analytics, and power point presentations on an ad hoc basis
Your team
GWM US Capital Markets Solutions (CMS) is responsible for the review and distribution of certain capital markets offerings including Initial Public Offerings, Closed End Funds and Unit Investment Trusts (UITs) among other products. We are looking for a [high-performing AO or junior AD] to join the team full-time. As a member of the team, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the daily operations and functions of the UIT desk, including monitoring the trading system and workflow. The role will require you to problem solve for revenue and open-position ledger challenges, as well as trading system issues by reaching out to our partners in other areas of the Firm for solutions. Candidates are expected to proactively assist and guide Financial Advisors as they evaluate the UIT product offering and order entry process on behalf of the private clients. Other responsibilities would include determining solutions for expiring UITs (i.e., rolling positions into any new ‘series’) and resolving any trading discrepancies that might arise. Additionally, this candidate will assist with supporting the broader CMS platform on an ongoing basis. This would include helping with the Syndicate trading ledger, taking minutes on committee calls, data pulls, research, managing the FA Index and assisting the Head of Capital Markets Solutions on selected projects and presentations.
Your expertise
- The candidate should have a strong desire to develop a deep knowledge of the UIT product line, as well as other Capital Market Solutions offerings
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required
- 1-3 years work experience at a financial services and/or FINRA member firm
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint & Access)
- Exceptional communication skills and an ethical mindset; must be detail oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Series 7 registration required

Salary information
The base rate of pay offered for this role is $110,000 - $115,000
