Codeword is a remote-first agency, though we have physical offices in NYC, SF, and SLC that we won’t make you visit.

About You:

  • 5+ years of marketing data analysis, statistical, or marketing research experience is required & 3+ years client facing
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Communications, Media, Business Administration, Marketing, Political Science) or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • MBA is a plus
  • Direct experience with 1st & 3rd party reporting solutions (e.g. LinkedIn/Twitter/Instagram analytics manager, Google Analytics/Adobe, Marketo, Talkwalker, etc.)
  • A thought leader who can assert their POV with senior clients and facilitate conversations that unlock deeper findings
  • A proactive client/internal partner with a view beyond immediate deliverables
  • Experience with enterprise or B2B tech clients a plus

About This Role:

The Associate Director will report to Director of I&A Kevin Wu (who’s amazing), and will be overseeing the reporting, analysis and insight generation for one of the largest global tech brands.

You’ll work alongside an amazing group of strategists (including Ellen Chan and Lauren Rawlins), creatives and account leads to measure the impact of creative performance and drive recommendations that move the needle on owned social channels, company blogs, website and Email.

The role asks for a strong communicator who is comfortable guiding clients and inspiring internal teams. While experience with some of the usual digital platforms like Google Analytics, native social media and social listening tools is helpful, we’ve found curiosity, ability to ask the right questions and openness to new measurement capabilities to be much more important.

Unlike most agencies, we don’t have a hard line between our analysts and strategists, and we pride ourselves on our ability to execute in a wide range of creative disciplines. So if you like to mix it up, great!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading measurement and reporting work streams across owned channels including: social media (incl company executives), website and blog, and Email.
  • Meeting with the clients to recommend and shape measurement frameworks, outlining campaign KPI’s and a corresponding reporting cadence that delivers against client objectives.
  • Partnering with strategy, creative and account leads to develop compelling and actionable insights.
  • Supporting agency leadership in identifying opportunities for expanding existing client relationships.
  • Managing 2 junior I&A analysts on career development and improving internal and client communication.
  • Evolve current reporting attribution to client business performance & client objectives
  • I&A team leadership: Socializing client & reporting insights within the I&A department. Facilitating interdepartmental collaboration & knowledge sharing in remote settings.

For this role we’re looking to pay $105K-120K, depending on experience.
