Position Summary

Manage a portfolio of accounts, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and executing strategies to grow the business. Work closely with underwriters and other stakeholders to assess risk, negotiate terms, and ensure that policies are issued accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish new connections with brokers.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with current brokers.
• Evaluate risk acceptability within established guidelines and set appropriate rates and factor levels.
• Learn department underwriting procedures.
• Learn to process endorsement requests and complete requests.
• Communicate with Broker's to answer questions and build and maintain productive relationships.
• Assist department in meeting annual company goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, college a plus.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package
