Position Summary
The Imaging Services Associate provides clerical support to Imaging Services and Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health service lines with prompt request, retrieval, registration and documentation of imaging studies from internal and external sources. Accurately digitizes mammograms for permanent storage to PACS for comparison purposes. Positively represents the service lines in a professional and personable manner when answering the phone and/ or greeting customers. Has a working knowledge of services provided by both departments. Accesses all software programs with knowledge and ease to complete job required tasks. Utilizes Life Image for image transfer and upload when possible and helps customers using this system.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- HS Diploma
Experience
- 1 year of medical office experience, computer proficiency required

- Answer phone/greet customer utilizing AIDET
- Prepare images for check out with appropriate information and documentation
- Request prior images and reports from outside facilities
- Upload outside images and reports to PACS
- Digitize mammograms and upload to PACS
- Manage mammography file room
- Utilizes LifeImage for image transfer and upload
Support Imaging Services and Bearden Josey Center for Breast Health customer service needs
