Job Objectives: The Community Relations Manager is responsible for providing an excellent customer service experience throughout the resident journey at Essex.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversees the entire resident lifecycle from move-in to move-out (including renewals)
  • Manages customer satisfaction and reputation management, ensuring the residents are treated with care and their issues or questions are adequately addressed
  • Monitors office expenses, ensuring that expenses are within budget and cost effective
  • Manages personnel throughout their employment lifecycle that includes career planning and development, accountability and performance management, and recognition

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of property management or equivalent experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and a desire to help people
  • Proven ability to supervise staff of two or more associates
  • Ability to work within budgeted guidelines
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read and write English; speak English and understand spoken English
  • Ability to utilize a personal smart device for apps related to property operations and communication
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite and property management software

Pay: $77,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
