This position is a sales account manager for USPS and Canada post.
This position establishes and maintains working relationship with key local and national USPS and Canada post personnel to strengthen partnerships and alliances to lead for new postal sales opportunity to increase the revenues.
Job Description:
- Plans and executes various sales activities and develops sales strategies and policies.
- Monitors compliance of postal industry Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) requirements.
- Monitors/analyzes postal payments and claim processes.
- Coordinates station activities and collaboratse with multi-functional departments and agencies to ensure essential needs are met for safe, efficient, on-time operation.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of extensive airline or cargo sales experience required.
- Excellent Customer service and communication skills (written/ verbal).
- Excellent organization skills.
- Ability to work variable hours, flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends as needed.
- Strong analytical thinking, decision making and problem solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products-Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
- Must be able to obtain USPS Security Clearance (USPS has a 5 years United States residency requirement).
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a TSA and US Customs background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience.
- IATA Dangerous Goods Certification preferred.
- Extensive airline and/or cargo sales experience.
