Job Summary:
The Agriculture Technical Support contingent provides a basic level of assistance to business partners, resellers, end-users along with internal Trimble teams relating to product information and technical support. Spring contingency provides an opportunity to interact with Precision Agriculture and GPS systems used by the modern day farmer. This includes but is not limited to Autonomously steered farm equipment, implement and machine controls, crop sensors and many other precision agriculture solutions used in the modern day market. Success in this position involves time spent on training, teamwork, time invested in technical support related issues and responsibility to provide customer care & support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide fast and efficient Tier 1customer service to business partners, dealers and end users
Redirect incorrectly routed cases submitted in the region to Priority Support
Work closely with Priority Support for technical support and product issues
Provide input to team and manager on competitive products and activities
Completion of special projects & tasks
Provide Presentation of Key Experiences at the end of internship.
Recommended Skills & Experience:
Candidates currently pursuing their undergraduate degree or in the second year of their associates program in business, Ag Business or Ag field.
Experience working in Ag field or having an Ag related background
Experienced with Microsoft office applications
Must be comfortable with learning new computer applications
Customer service experience or experience in a customer-facing role
Possesses strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Fluent in English, and other languages a plus
Ability to collaborate with team members both in person and virtually (email, phone, conference calls)
Must be a team player and be able to leverage resources through sound organizational skills and teamwork
Possess strong problem solving skills
Must demonstrate and project a high level of energy and enthusiasm

18/hour

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
