POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant


REPORTS TO:
High School Principal


CONTRACT DAYS:
240 beginning immediately


JOB DESCRIPTION: Administrative Assistant


REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(May include, but not limited to)


  • Keeper of student records.

2.Demonstrates the ability to work with other staff members in a positive and productive manner


  • Orders and maintains supplies as needed

4.Maintains a regular filing system and processes incoming correspondence as instructed


5. In charge of registration at WVHS


6. Responsible for daily student data collection


7. Answers telephone in a respectful and professional manner


8. Demonstrates the ability to organize office work


9. Gathers data for the various reports required by the federal and state agencies as well as the district office in an accurate timely manner


10. Performs any bookkeeping task associated with the position


11. Exhibits the ability to create grammatically correct correspondence


12. Uses language completely free of sarcasm or ridicule with staff, students, and the public


13. Maintains confidentiality and privacy of all school records


14. Is punctual in attendance


15. Has a pleasant personality


16.Performs other duties as required by their supervisor.
