POSITION SUMMARY

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to leaders for the ESG, Asplundh Innovate, and Labor Relations teams by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing highly visible and clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings or events for executives. This is not an entry-level position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide primary administrative support to management and direct reports including calendar management, travel, processing expense reports and other administrative duties, all with a sense of urgency, accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Qualified candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of company policies.
  • Phone contact with office, field employees and customers.
  • Create and maintain files, databases and spreadsheets to support regional functions.
  • Ensure efficient and professional operation of office; exercise discretion, professionalism and diplomacy at all times.
  • Handle correspondence, mail, and filing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Must be detail oriented and have good organizational skills.
    • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
    • Ability to work well with others, and interface with many visitors and all levels of management.
