Brown & Brown is growing and looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Atlanta, GA office!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Responsible for vendor payables.
-
Produce monthly reports and reconciliations.

Responsible for Carrier payables set up on item basis schedule.

Assists the accounting team with bank/GL transactions.

Work with underwriting teams to address day-to-day accounting concerns.

Answer questions from Carriers regarding balances & resolve discrepancies.

Cross-trained in accounting functions to help fill-in covering vacations or any other team absences.

Assist with special projects.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Minimum education or prior job experience – Associate of Arts Degree; or 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient with MS Office

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
