Yard Haul Driver/Utility Job at General Shale Brick, Inc

$26.45 an hour
Responsibilities will include:
- Hauling clay from mine sites to the plant yard
- Hauling materials from location to location within the plant yard
- Plowing snow in the plant yard as well as off-site mines (as needed)
- Operating a water truck / watering the clay yard for dust control (as needed)
- Fueling and greasing loaders, both on site and at off-site mines
- Conducting and documenting daily inspections of truck/equipment in compliance with DOT and MSHA regulations
Job Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL license in good standing
- 2 years’ experience operating an 18-wheel truck with 18-speed manual transmission. End dump experience preferred, but not mandatory.
- Willing to assist with secondary tasks like plowing snow, covering stockpiles, fueling/greasing equipment, operating a front-end loader to load trucks (experience a plus, but not mandatory – this is a task that the candidate would be trained to do).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
