Position Summary

The Workers’ Compensation Manager is responsible for supervising and monitoring Fashion Nova’s Workers’ Compensation program at all company owned and operated locations. The Workers’ Compensation Supervisor will be responsible for developing and collaborating successful partnerships with our associates, third party administrators (TPAs), internal stakeholders and service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Fashion Nova is compliant with state specific Worker’s Compensation regulations and Fashion Nova policies and guidelines.
  • Initial and ongoing point of contact for associates, management, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and internal business partners.
  • Point of contact for all documentation regarding claims.
  • Maintain confidentiality of Workers’ Compensation claim records, including all health information related to claims.
  • Supervise and provide oversight of Fashion Nova’s Worker’s Compensation program, including all policies and claims. Interact with employees, insurance brokers and adjusters, legal counsel (internal and external), and coordinate with People and Culture department as required.
  • Adhere to internal claims procedures to ensure timely notification and proper reporting.
  • Review and analyze claims and litigation and ensure establishment of appropriate liability reserves; monitor progress of litigation and as necessary, participate on behalf of Fashion Nova at alternative dispute resolution proceedings, settlement conferences and trials.
  • Oversight of claims management, including reporting, settlement, payment authorization and reconciliation of invoices.
  • Worker’s Compensation reporting of key trends relevant and tailored to senior management and relevant audiences.
  • Partner with multiple departments to coordinate and supervise the Return-to-Work program for employees to ensure work restriction and transitional work guidelines are being adhered to.
  • Be available and/or work evenings and weekends as dictated by business needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience processing workers’ compensation claims or related experience
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal, State, and local laws and regulations governing workers’ compensation
  • Ability to gather, organize, compile, and summarize data
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
