With multiple levels of redundancy, our home defense system hydrates the materials of a home and its surrounding area to prevent ignition from flying embers - the #1 cause of structure loss during wildfire.


About This Opportunity

We’re looking to add a new Wildfire Protection Consultant to our team to help generate new business in the greater Bay Area of California. This is an individual contributor sales role where you will help prospective customers, develop local partnerships, and provide an incredible customer experience. Candidates must be a self starter, have sales experience, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication and follow up skills.
In this role, you will:

  • Own an individual Sales Quota
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline of potential customers from prospect to installation
  • Evaluate customer needs while building productive relationships
  • Conduct in-person site visits and sales consultations with potential customers
  • Educate customers’ about defensible space and our wildfire defense system
  • Generate prospective customer designs, proposals, and contracts
  • Self-generate new customer relationships and sales appointments
  • Accurately maintain records within our CRM system to report updates and outcomes
  • Coordinate directly with the Frontline Project Management and Installation Teams to ensure seamless project handoffs and successful installations
  • Provide an incredible customer experience from initial contact to installation and beyond
  • Follow up by phone, text, and email with prospective and existing customers
  • Attend in-person and virtual trainings, meetings, events, and one-to-one’s as required
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Frontline products, defensible space, and wildfires
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing Leadership to execute on Sales and Operating plans for your region, within the framework of company and personal objectives (OKRs)
  • Work hand in hand with the Operations Team to drive higher job profitability
  • Help ensure high quality installations through better sales, design and install coordination, process, communication, and technology
  • Develop referral partnerships with individuals and organizations to further sales success
  • Help cultivate our New Homes channel by working with architects, general contractors, developers and our internal design engineers within your market
  • Establish relationships with local stakeholders, such as FireSafe Councils, insurance partners and fire departments

Other Qualifications

  • Proven track record in an individual contributor sales role with consumers and/or businesses
  • In-home and/or consumer product sales experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills and empathy in working with customers and teammates
  • Willing to work remotely, travel to customers ~50% of the week, and work nights and weekends as needed
  • Great communicator and teacher - both in terms of creating the story and presentation and delivering it to customers and partners
  • Proficient in CRM tools (Zoho) and Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
  • Most possess a vehicle and valid driver’s license to drive to and from customer locations
  • Must have home internet broadband access

Compensation: Salary or Hourly + commissions tied to performance
