Possibility of working at Silver Dollar City or the Showboat Branson Belle when White Water's operating season concludes.

Summary: Splash on into Silver Dollar City’s White Water located in Branson, MO, and serve our Premium Cabana guests. We are looking for applicants with previous server experience, excellent guest service, and a friendly attitude. In order to perform this position successfully you will need to be able to work well with others and maneuver in small spaces while carrying trays of food for our guests.

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Interacts with guests in a manner that demonstrates a willingness to do “whatever it takes” to make their experience one worth repeating
• Answers questions and makes suggestions regarding food and service; Listens to and responds appropriately to any guest request
• Serves salads, main course, and desserts, serves & refills drinks, and performs other services as determined by need
• Carries a serving tray, weighing up to 30 pounds above shoulder level, or a hot carry bag, weighing up to 30 lbs on your shoulder
• Clears and resets cabanas at the conclusion of each day
• Participates in rotation of serving areas as assigned by Leadership; Must be flexible to work in any area
• The park operating hours vary, but servers are expected to remain until their last guests leave for the day
• Performs in a safety-critical evacuation role in the case of an emergency; Responsible for directing guests and ensuring they follow all safety precautions and instructions
• Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards

• Able to communicate efficiently

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to lift and/or move 30 pounds frequently to 200 pounds maximum
• The ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete continuously
• The ability to work in extreme weather frequently
• The ability to remember locations, understand and carry out instructions continuously
• The ability to work at a rapid speed frequently
• The ability to use a hand-held Point of Sales (POS) unit, radio, and computer frequently

• Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
