Seeking an Experienced Welder Fabricator to join our ever expanding metal fabricating job shop
ISO Certified job shop seeking a Welder Fabricator with a high degree of skill in tig short arc, spray arc and tig weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
Candidates must have a minimum of three years’ experience in the welding of carbon, stainless steels and aluminum utilizing GMAW and GTAW processes. Must be able to fabricate various assemblies from blue prints to specified tolerances with minimum supervision. An ability to short arc, spray arc and tig weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum without supervision is required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Fabricate various assemblies from blue prints to specified tolerance
- Short arc, spray arc and tig weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum
- Welding of carbon, stainless steel and aluminum utilizing GMAW and GTAW processes
- Able to fabricate complicated fabrications while holding tolerances without supervision
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years Welder Fabricator experience
- Thorough working knowledge of blue print reading
- Working knowledge of basic weld symbol knowledge
- Ability to use grinders, bevelers, saws and drills
- Ability to use material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists and fork trucks
