Wedding Banquet Server Job at Crystal Springs Services
Crystal Springs Resort is currently seeking for wedding banquet servers that are available to work Fridays-Sundays.
Responsibilities:
- Run food from the kitchen to the banquet hall on demand
- Server plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers, and other needs
- Maintain high service standards
- Serve all food and beverage items according to use records and established procedures
- Assist with busing tables when necessary
- Must strive for finer points of service such as making sure that the water glasses are filled, that the table is free from dirty dishes, etc.
- Exercise positive and warm hospitality
- Maintain knowledge of food items
- Must have excellent communication and guest relation skills
- Following instructions from the Captain in regards to placing tableware properly (placing silverware, B&B plates, glasses, napkins, salt & peppers, sugars, creamers, etc.)
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous banquet experience preferred
- Must be a team player
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware is a plus
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to transport 30lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift
