About the role:
Marketing and Communications is a passionate and dedicated team seeking an individual excited about the opportunity to transform Cboe’s site into a powerful growth platform. Reporting to the Head of Digital Strategy & Growth, you’ll combine design, marketing, content, data, and tools to scale the presence of our site’s products and brand.
Where You'd Work: Remote/Hybrid/In-office flexibility in the US. We have Cboe offices in Chicago, Lenexa, KS or New York.
What you’ll do when you join us:
  • Gather business requirements from multiple stakeholders (e.g., product marketing, sales, development, marketing tech) to determine the design and engagement strategy of our site, particularly with an eye towards not only demand and lead generation, using content, tools, and data but also platform enablement for communications and our brand
  • Manage our site roadmap by treating the site as an integrated product, going from business goals to strategies to features to KPIs
  • Write business and functional specifications for design and development
  • Work with design, UX, and development to build engaging experiences that inform the user about our products, bring new users to us, and help inform the business about user intent
  • Regularly report on the digital properties of multiple business lines to show how the site is advancing their goals
  • Help optimize the site with A/B testing to increase the yields of our lead generation and user engagement campaigns
  • Monitor site properties to see if operational or business performance metrics are within expectations
  • Determine the data and application infrastructure needed to learn more about our users and support our corporate and business line growth strategies

We’re looking for an individual with a broad digital background and deep understanding of how content, channels, analytics, and user engagement work together to move the business. The ideal candidate brings:
  • Experience leading site re-designs or buildouts (e.g., page, sections, tools) from requirements gathering to wireframe to buildout to monitoring
  • An understanding how site sections or pages works as a product rather than just pages. How would we measure their effectiveness and improve the overall product? What infrastructure is required to produce, manage, and scale content?
  • Thoughtfulness on selling your roadmap, building requirements, working in a sprint process, user acceptance testing / QA, incorporating feedback, etc.
  • A high comfort level working with web designers and developers. You have strong working knowledge of common web technologies such as HTML/CS, Javascript frameworks, and cookies and operational frameworks or platforms such as sprints, JIRA, etc.
  • Has a strong track record of working with cross-functional teams and managing time across multiple projects. You are extremely responsive to the people building your products. You hold business leads and developers accountable but understand the importance of prioritization and compromises to hit our dates and budget
  • Expertise with the technical requirements of site growth such as SEO mechanics, user profiling, page speed, etc.
  • High proficiency in Google Analytics (UA & 4) and user-level analytics (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel)
  • Expertise in A/B testing with tools such as Google Optimize or Optimizely
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Job Requirements
Experience:
  • 5+ years of site product management experience with a focus on how the site can bring digital scale to multiple business lines and our corporate brand.
