Web and Digital Marketing Manager

We are seeking a Web and Digital Marketing leader with a strong website management and digital marketing background to drive DZS’s web presence. You will manage implementing the brand and help drive demand generation through the DZS website. The position will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer of the company.


The ideal candidate not only has extensive knowledge and experience of core web site management and digital marketing—including web metrics, SEO, A/B testing, heatmap analytics, usability, AI chat bots, user experience, content strategy, web design, and site maintenance—but also understands new use cases, applications, and abilities for web marketing and web sites. This person will be a leader in understanding the applicability of emerging web technologies and will introduce new ideas that keep DZS’s web properties on the cutting edge of web and digital marketing and ahead of the competition.

Successful Candidates Responsibilities:

  • Website and Digital strategy leader for ongoing website development, project management, and digital marketing roadmap. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute the strategic roadmap for global web properties.
  • Developing the UX and UI of the DZS website to ensure easier conversion, content navigation, scalability for personalization and A/B testing, and effective online buyer journeys.
  • Ensure the DZS brand is amplified consistently through dzsi.com and any DZS owned online digital properties.
  • Constantly manage and improve website and digital marketing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Document the online strategy for DZS, including dzsi.com and the DZS partner portal, leverage new technologies to augment interaction, create intuitive navigation and user journeys for our visitors and target market.
  • Manage the content and structure updates to the web site, optimizing for organic search
  • Manage and improve website demand generation to increase funnel and pipeline activity.
  • Work with IT, outside agencies and contractors to build and maintain the web infrastructure.
  • Manage the DZS’ domain name strategy and existing domain name portfolio.
  • Direct and implement the localization of DZS’ web properties into new languages.
  • Work with the campaign team to generate leads through dzsi.com.
  • Remain in tune with and take advantage of emerging trends and platforms within Marketing (e.g., eBooks, interactive content, social media, video, blogs, forums, infographics, etc.)
  • Partner closely with the other functions within Marketing (PR, Events, Field, Product, Operations, etc.) to deliver valuable content and effective design as a service organization to these groups.

Qualifications/Necessary Skills:

  • 7+ years of IT industry Marketing experience, ideally in the cloud software, networking, IT or network infrastructure industry
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of an effective Web presence for a high-tech and fast-pace company
  • Extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of managing a website, analytics, UX, technical and content SEO, domain management, platform tools, and budgeting
  • Strong experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, Google Data Studio
  • Track record working effectively with Marketing Ops, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, PR, Sales, Customer Support and external agencies
  • Understanding of the IT systems and marketing technology stack that underpin marketing systems (Web content management, attribution, lead nurturing/scoring, etc.)
  • Global experience with implementing multilingual websites (Korean, Japanese, German,..)
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Team player with strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills
  • Working knowledge and experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • Regex (with Google Tag Manager or page redirection filtering)
  • Pantheon, WPEngine or Acquia hosting services/infrastructure
  • Analytics tools such as CrazyEgg, Hotjar, ahrefs
  • WordPress, Elementor, YoastSEO
  • A/B Testing tools such as Google Optimize, CrazyEgg, others

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required with formal education in web design or web development (or equivalent experience). MBA or advanced degree a plus.
