Warehouse Worker II - 2nd Shift Part Time Job at Build-A-Bear Workshop
Following direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and Lead, the Bearhouse Worker II is responsible for picking and putting away product using a motorized vehicle (forklift, turret truck, etc) with the assistance of a radio frequency scanner.
Key responsibilities include:
Receive/Pick/Pack/Replenishment
Gather product for each order in a timely and accurate manager using an RF scanner. Receive product into the warehouse. Following prompts for picking for specific areas. Use forklift or turret truck. Replenish and locate/move needed items.
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications include:
- 1-2 years prior distribution/warehouse or logistics experience or equivalent. RF equipment knowledge
- Forklift/turret truck certification
- Preferred level of experience: 3-5 prior distribution experience.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED certificate. Associate degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
- Ability to stand/walk/sit/talk/hear for up to 8 hours or more per day. Lift or move 50lbs frequently. Ability to use hands, fingers, reach with arms, stoop, kneel and bend. Ability to climb stairs several times a day. Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled facility.
- Must be able to work occasional overtime through the week/weekends as needed. May be asked to rotate to 1st shift occasionally as needed
- Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to multi-task.
- RF equipment knowledge preferred.
- Ability to adhere to all safety standards.
- Reliable, dependable. Accepts supervision.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
