Pentair recently acquired Manitowoc Ice, a leading provider of commercial ice makers, allowing us to enhance and deliver our total water management offerings to an expanded network of channel partners and customers, further establishing Pentair as a leader in a vast and growing industry.
Position Summary:
The position will be responsible for receiving shipments (raw materials, indirect & MRO, etc.) for the Manitowoc facility. This position will directly interact with truck and parcel delivery drivers and will also be responsible for verifying accuracy of shipment documentation and labeling. Position will also assist in auditing export shipments for accuracy of labels, markings, origins, etc. This individual will be an active participant of the Safety Management Program.
Major Accountability:
  • Screen and grant driver access to facility for deliveries of shipments and parcels.
  • Receive shipments in to Oracle system promptly and accurately.
  • Verify materials for international export requirements.
  • Manage inflow of deliveries and dispositions to final locations in facility.
  • Complete necessary paperwork.
Key Task & Responsibilities:
  • Maintains freight compliance in unloading of materials to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Ensures preparation of receiving documents, file maintenance, and logs of activities.
  • Ensure Hazmat and other regulatory shipping requirements are met.
  • Oracle data entry
  • Participate in Safety Management Program.
  • Perform month end dock walks & prepare closing reports.
  • Ensure compliance with C-TPAT requirements.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
  • Accurately read, count, weigh, and measure.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel)
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years warehouse receiving & shipping experience.
  • Manufacturing environment; extended periods of standing; must wear Safety Shoes and Glasses.
  • Regularly lift 40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds and have ability to use lift equipment.
