Warehouse Specialist
Job Description
Warehouse Specialist is a multi-faceted position requiring positive energy and a team-minded attitude. In this role, you will work with the warehouse management team to assist in the day-to-day and project work for our retail and wholesale divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare orders with proper packaging, labeling, and packing lists to be shipped for retail and wholesale strategic and drop-ship customers.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments including unloading and loading containers and receiving inventory into our ERP system.
- Support for cycle count program, including cycle count activity and accuracy of counts
- Work with Inventory Coordinator on all inventory adjustments, to ensure inventory display levels are accurate at all times.
- Aid with seasonal projects. Example: entering new product weights and measurements in inventory management system, cleaning up empty physical and inventory management system locations, assigning and preparing locations for new product and repeat products with new colors.
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of out bound strategic shipments
- Help arrange transportation, pallet labels and other logistics, as needed, by wholesale account.
- Support with retail and wholesale customer returns & RAs.
- Assist with strategic portal entries including Lingo, Amazon, and Zulily.
- Be the warehouse backup to the QC & Logistics Manager.
- Assist with keeping the warehouse clean and organized and adhere to all safety standards and operating procedures.
Skills
- Experience with ERP systems strongly preferred including inventory scanner equipment.
- Ability to safely use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift.
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to organize and prioritize work to succeed under deadlines.
- Self-managed individual who is proactive in identifying needs and responding to requests.
- Dependable team player who can work well across all functional groups.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on tasks as needed.
Work Environment
- Physically demanding position.
- Many standing hours and the ability to lift up-to 50lbs is required.
- Seasonal requests for overtime and weekend hours.
