Based in Aberdeen, NC with a 40,000 square foot distribution center , Tactical Gear Distributors (TGD) is the premier distributor of performance firearms and proven tactical gear. Our customers include all four U.S. Military Exchange Systems, military base supply stores, large commercial chain retailers and small businesses across the country. TGD is seeking a Warehouse Specialist in our Aberdeen distribution center. This is an entry level position with the potential for rapid advancement based on job performance. We promote from within, therefore all of our distribution personnel, to include management, begin as Warehouse Specialists/Pickers. For good performers, there is room to quickly advance to the Packing, Shipping and Receiving Departments with Lead positions in each department. We are looking for career minded people who want to grow with us and call TGD their home.

Duties:

• Accurate picking of orders
• Quality inspection of products
• Report mislocated products
• Ensure accurate product picking before packing
• Adhere to product labeling and HAZMAT requirements
• Accurately ship orders
• Inventory and location reporting
• Support and ensure weekly pull-forwards to primary pick zones
• Greet delivery drivers and unload shipments
• Receive product in to the inventory management system
• Manage damaged goods
• Process returns
• Execute special projects
• Compliance reporting

Skills / Knowledge:

• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Desire to work hard and advance

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, unless currently a student
• Successfully pass a National Criminal Background Check and drug screening
