Our company is currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Wylie, TX. A Warehouse Specialist’s primary duties include receiving and managing inbound inventory from internal and external suppliers to ensure accurate inventory record-keeping and proper material management. Use SAP, Shop Floor Information System (SFIS), and other software programs to execute functions on computer. They also perform duties with a focus on SQDC & 5S goals on both a departmental and plant-wide level. All employees are required to assist & support the general process, plant wide & when required based on needs and demands as directed by supervision.

Pay Rate: $27.27 an hour


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enter received inbound deliveries from external suppliers accurately in SAP and SFIS.
  • Reviews daily inbound delivery report with shipping to ensure all expected deliveries arrived.
  • Resolves invoice issues related quantity received as requested by AP.
  • Ensures all internal and external inbound deliveries and finished production is labeled properly and stored in proper area.
  • Issues SFIS batch IDs for all scheduled production.
  • Adjusts production orders in SFIS as needed to accommodate any needed production schedule changes
  • Performs required monthly cycle counts for SAP and SFIS.
  • Investigates, reports, and corrects cycle count and inventory transaction errors in SAP and SFIS.
  • Ensures FIFO principles and procedures are followed by production and shipping.
  • Prepares monthly/quarterly aging inventory reports
  • Performs all RMA and QC HOLD related inventory transactions in SAP and SFIS.
  • Reviews all production orders to ensure accurate semi and raw material consumptions plus accurate finished good/scrap reporting.
  • Final confirms production orders in SFIS as close the actual completion date and time as possible.
  • Issues MCPS production order analysis Gantt charts for each Work Center.
  • Reports any production order variance issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Resolves SFIS and SAP errors related to inventory transactions.
  • Performs Early Release of materials on QC HOLD if needed and approved by QC
  • Prepares and orchestrates annual inventory

Education and Experience:

  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience with SAP and Shopfloor Systems
  • Computer Literate
