PRIMARY POSITION OBJECTIVE

This position will entail having the flexibility to assist in many facets of warehouse responsibilities (Shipping & Receiving, Inventory/Cycle Counting, Material Handling, Picking/Packing, etc) throughout a given day. You will be working with other warehouse personnel along with various supervisors, team leads and managers. It is expected that you will follow all business and safety guidelines and assist as needed in other areas of business.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include the following and any other duties that may be assigned.

• Loads and unloads materials from trucks/containers.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Pulls and prepare orders for shipment.
• Data entry of receipts and/or shipments into ERP system.
• Utilization of 3PL to obtain freight quotes and/or setup shipments.
• Performs physical/cycle counts on inventory and/or recounts.

• Assist and be a backup for transfer truck shuttles.
• Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• High School diploma or GED
• A minimum of one-year warehouse and logistics experience including experience working with materials handling equipment required
• Certified material handling experience preferred
• Willingness and ability to function as a part of a team

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Obtain a Class B CDL or be willing and able to obtain Class B CDL
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Good organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to use handheld scanning unit
• Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
• Basic PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Access and Outlook.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to stand for long period of times.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Ability to work in warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Post-offer drug test and physical required.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
