Eternity Floors USA is a well-known supplier of high-quality floor covering products servicing specialty flooring retailers seeks an experienced WAREHOUSE MANAGER - Pacoima, Ca.
SUMMARY: This is position is responsible for managing day-to-day operations and scheduling of work performed to internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely assisting operations management to supervise employees.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
· Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforces adherence to requirements; advises management on needed actions.
· Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
· Ensure all employees participate in safety meetings.
· Conducts inventory physical counts and ascertain any losses.
· Maintains the physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing equipment inspections; issues work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
· Will conduct and participate in safety meetings.
· Maintain time keeping within various software’s.
· Completes warehouse operational requirements by assigning employees work assignments; follows up on work results.
· Maintains warehouse job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
· Will work between 8-10 hours per day.
· Will treat all employees with respect and transparency.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
· Maintain administrative work for Fleet, End Of Day, Warehouse and Routing etc..

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Directly supervises warehouse employees and drivers.
· Will create work schedules.
· Will complete all warehouse administrative tasks.
· Enact and ensure all employees are provided safety training and lead safety meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Computer skills required: Outlook, Microsoft Suite, Internet savvy.
