This position involves managing the warehouse staff and the drivers to ensure daily duties are completed and conduct is properly maintained.
Work duties:
- Address any inefficiencies, mistakes, or concerns in day to day tasks
- Develop, manage, and improve warehouse operation processes and procedures
- Review current internal warehouse paperwork and processes
- Document and keep up to date all process and procedure documents
- Work with Operations to determine distribution facility needs
- Aid Operations in the development and implementation of facility capital projects
- Train, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; and recommending compensation actions. This role will also handle related documentation of these areas
- Conduct bi-annual physical inventory counts, reconcile variances, and input data
- Ensure warehouse is clean, neat, and free of safety hazards
- Secure warehouse by ensuring that gates are locked, cameras have a clear view of property, and that inventory is secured; replace any related equipment as necessary
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing all Personal Protective Equipment as required for position, reporting all Near Misses, and reporting all incidents & filing appropriate paperwork in required time frames

- 3 to 5 years of warehouse and/or leadership experience
- Legally eligible to drive a company-provided vehicle, with insurable driving record
- Lifting of 75-100 lbs required on an occasional basis, as well as bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the day; work will be performed in areas without heat or air conditioning, exposed to both hot and cold weather conditions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Candidates should have an adaptive, resilient personality, with the ability to adjust to changes and learn and apply new strategies quickly
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and engaging personality to create positive interactions with coworkers and customers
- Strong organizational, operational, and planning skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner
- $22-$25 per hour depending on skill & experience
- Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:30pm,
