SUMMARY

This role is responsible for loading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into and out of the warehouses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouses using carts and/or manual pallet jacks
  • Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouses using powered equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, etc.
  • Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care
  • Prepare inventory/products for shipping out via staging
  • Appropriately wrap, strap, or otherwise secure products
  • Prepare, track, and complete basic paperwork needs for products and shipment
  • Assist in organizing inventory and processing inventory counts/audits
  • Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards
  • Keep warehouse premises neat and clean
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience in warehouse environment preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • High attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone. The employee frequently is required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (22kg) independently and using equipment and/or team lifts to move heavier items.

< 10% of travel.
