Warehouse Associate (Full Time 4 Days/Week) Job at Swagelok Cambridge
Position Summary
Warehouse associates will perform a variety of shipping, receiving, stocking, picking and packing duties, as well as some customer service and housekeeping tasks. The ideal associate is motivated, professional, conscientious and willing to learn and improve.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick parts and prepare orders for shipment or production through standard work practices
- Package and process shipments through shipping carriers and their respective shipping applications
- Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment
- Unpack received inventory and put away in appropriate stocking locations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Skills
- Dedication to accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and problem solving ability
- Comfortable using computers
- Must work well both independently and with a team
- Ability to maintain poise during busy periods
- Able to work while standing for up to 8 hours
- Can lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical aptitude
Job Type: Full-time
