At our New Century KS location, we make all kinds of delicious treats! This is a confectionary site where we make chocolate coated sweets, baked and dough products. Location: 400 Prairie Village Dr. New Century, KS 66031

Significant Bonus paid $2,000. - $1000.00 30 days & $1000 90 days on the job!!!

The hours are as follows:

  • 2nd Shift: 2:30PM - 11:00PM

This is a Monday through Friday role with the availability for overtime and work on the weekends.
Get paid weekly every Thursday!!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs general warehousing operations within the New Century Warehouse.
  • Other duties include general warehousing and shipping operations at the outside warehouses. Employee must be able to work with little to no supervision.
  • Follow all facility safety rules and requirements.
  • Prepare for storage and shipment materials and finished product in accordance with plant and company policies and guidelines.
  • Inventory and report any discrepancies to management staff any raw materials and finished products to include packaging and materials.
  • Receive product from vendors appropriately and store in facilities in accordance with plant and company policies and guidelines.
  • Perform maintenance and sanitation of the warehouse equipment and facility equipment to maintain plant and company requirements and guidelines.
  • Perform all other tasks necessary

Supervisor Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications and skills

  • Forklift,sit down and stand-up lifts, experience preferred. Will train on-site for all required licenses.
  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) and six months related experience and training in a facility of similar make up and size; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Able to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), product labeling for chemicals, and equipment instruction guides used in performing cleaning tasks.
  • Basic computer literacy, RF preferred
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Able to apply knowledge acquired from training to understanding and performance of written or verbal instructions.
  • Able to use problem solving techniques when presented with a situation at the facility and direct supervision is not available.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; fingers to grip, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance.
  • The employee uses ladders. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights; and fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibration. Noise level in the work environment is adjusted with hearing protection.

High School Diploma
Be willing to work overtime when needed.
Be able to read, write and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence.
Be able to calculate simple math and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals.
Be able to move up to 50 pounds repeatedly. The employee must frequently bend, twist, and reach
and stand for long lengths of time.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
