Position Summary

The sales team is looking for a VP of Sales of North America to deliver on our strategy to land new customers and expand existing accounts to drive predictable year over year ARR growth for Platform.sh in the US and Canada. This role reports directly to our SVP of Global Sales.

The ideal candidate can be flexible in hours but comfortable being available 9-5 EST

What you can expect

  • Lead and grow the regional sales team of 8+ people (direct sales, account management).
  • Employ outstanding leadership and team building skills, while coaching and mentoring the sales team on best practices for prospecting, qualifying, navigating, and selling/closing business.
  • Contribute to grow the pipeline accordingly, and increase pipeline creation focus.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
  • Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels

  • Demonstration of high levels of integrity, initiative, honesty and leadership

Nice to have

  • Experience successfully selling developer tools or other PaaS products to the large Enterprise.
  • Experience with the MEDDPICC sales methodology
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Saleslof, 6Sense and/or Zoominfo

This is a remote job. Work from anywhere within the Americas regions!

How we hire

You can expect 3 – 4 interviews on Google Meet. You will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of Platformers throughout the interview process. You’ll also have the opportunity to schedule virtual coffee chats with potential future peers to see if you can envision working together. Use interview and coffee time to make sure the company aligns with what you’re looking for in your future working environment.

Expect a higher number of interviews for director-level roles and above. All roles require background checks.
