As our network of ASCs continues to grow into new markets, we are actively recruiting a VP of Payor Relations to join the Blue Cloud leadership team.

ABOUT YOU

You are a healthcare leader with a passion for making an impact. You have experience building strong relationships with outside stakeholders, specifically managing payor relationships and strategy. You are knowledgeable about Medicaid reimbursements and a skilled negotiator.

You thrive in a fast-faced, dynamic environment, and you desire to contribute to a strong culture where the entire team works together for the good of each patient.

YOU WILL

  • Report directly to the CFO
  • Enhance Blue Clouds position in the market by building and maintaining strong relationships with applicable healthcare payors
  • Be the subject matter expert on CMS programs and relevant Medicaid rate structures
  • Oversee the negotiation or renegotiation of payor contracts
  • Report market opportunities, monitor significant changes, and advise the leadership team accordingly
  • Develop, evaluate, and respond to rate structures and rate levels for all services and locations across the Blue Cloud organization
  • Meet with health plans and payors, maintaining a strong relationship on behalf of Blue Cloud
  • Engage payors to ensure that Blue Cloud is not excluded or disadvantaged as payors adapt or change their plans and implement policies and/or procedures
  • Assist with reporting needs for budget purposes, revenue projections and long-range planning
  • Research payors and rates in new markets
  • Serve as liaison with Revenue Cycle and other operational departments
  • Address operational issues with payers by proactively identifying issues, and soliciting information and feedback from Revenue Cycle regarding implementation and performance of contracts
