Visual Itinerant Teacher - Brevard Public Schools Job at Brevard Public Schools
Brevard Public Schools is seeking a full-time Visual Itinerant Teacher to work with our K-12 students with visual impairment at several district schools. The Visual Itinerant Teacher addresses the educational, communication, functional, and social/emotional needs of the student and provides guidance to the student's family and school personnel.
Qualifications:
- FLDOE Certification in Visually Impaired K-12 is required
Qualified Visual Itinerant Teachers must create an online BPS "BEACON" instructional application and apply to this job on our website www.brevardschools.org under the Careers tab.
Visual Itinerant Teachers may send a letter of intent and resume to Merion Sadowitz, Administrative Secretary of ESE Program Support, at our District Office, however, a BEACON application is required.
Please note salary is based on verifiable years of teaching experience as per District guidelines. We also have a multi-step plan to increase starting salary to $48,725 by the end of the 2022-2023 school year.
