Care.com is seeking a highly motivated Vice President of Product to join our B2C product. The ideal candidate will be a data focused Product leader who has experience taking a product from zero to one, driving growth through product marketing. Experience from a Marketplace, Subscription, and/or Transaction business is highly preferred.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities

• Ownership of product requirements and prioritize a roadmap based on impact.
• Lead multiple teams, work flawlessly with other leaders for projects with multiple cross functional teams
• Work heavily with data to curate ideas and analysis to answer a question and/or build out a revenue impacting business case.
• Owning project metrics, analyzing data and setting up A/B tests.
• Leading the cross functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development.
• Coordinating deliverables and timelines with the extended team (including remote employees). This includes making appropriate trade-offs and user acceptance testing the end final deliverable.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of work experience with at least 5 years of B2C experience
• Experience working for a tech company, preferably a consumer-oriented or marketplace service.
• Experience with developing product requirements and user interfaces for both mobile and desktop.
• Proven experience driving growth through product marketing
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, solve complex problems, and produce high-quality results.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiar with subscription and transaction business models is a large plus.
• Ability to work tactically in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.

Salary Range: $240,000 to $275,000. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
