The anticipated wage range for this position is $7,600 - $9,600 bi weekly

Direct responsibility for all aspects of property development and project construction for owned and managed luxury senior living communities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and involvement in:

• Cost Analysis - Gather and analyze data to estimate the amount of money, time, materials, and labor required to complete a construction project.
• Design, manage and work closely with design and development teams including architects and engineers to create designs and site plans.
• Entitlements - Manage the entitlement process including due diligence, permit research, and completion of applications.
• Permitting - Assist in the coordination and processing of plans to obtain required permits.
• Risk Management - Responsible for overall management of comprehensive corporate risk management and insurance with a concentration on risk identification, risk transfer and risk retention techniques.
• Construction Management - Direct personnel and 3rd parties on all new development projects.

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Construction Management is preferred. Advance degree desired.
• Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive experience with a major development or real estate company, or as a general contractor in the construction department of a real estate development company.
• Senior Housing, Multi-family, Hospitality knowledge and experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of architectural design standards, architectural and engineering software programs, construction and building codes, regulatory (state/local) planning and zoning codes (nationwide).
