Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College is accepting applications for the following position:

Full time Vice Chancellor of Academics, Student Affairs and Workforce Partnerships

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

Assists the Chancellor in planning, organizing, and directing the Academic, Student Affairs and Workforce operations, staff, and budgeting needs of the college in support of the following goals: increasing enrollment and the number of students who earn college credit credentials and industry-based credentials through academics, workforce training and dual enrollment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Related to Academic Affairs:

· Establish a mission for the Division of Academic Affairs.

· Coordinate the development and implementation of academic affairs policies and procedures.

· Coordinate with faculty leads in planning, developing, organizing, and administering academic programs.

· Collaborates with colleagues and administration to utilize enrollment data, trend analyses, relevant student and community demographic data, and other statistical information to guide planning and program improvement.

· Serve as faculty liaison and resource person.

· Serve as the liaison for institutional and programmatic accreditations.

· Organize and maintains the official inventory of academic and technical programs.

· Ensure that course descriptions and syllabi are accurate and contain content that provide information that is needed to successfully complete the course.

Related to Student Affairs:

· Supervise the Division of Student Affairs and provides leadership within the department consistent with the mission of the College.

· Establish a mission for the Division of Student Affairs.

· Serve on the accrediting body Planning/Steering Committee.

· Coordinate the development and implementation of student affairs policies and procedures.

· Ensure student affairs activities and programs coincide with the mission of the division and College.

· Mentors staff and advance a culture of service and collaboration with all constituencies

· Supervise the admission and registration processes ensuring all campuses are performing in accordance with policy and procedures.

· Oversee the graduation program.

Related to Workforce Partnerships:

· Promotes a learning-centered educational environment, placing educational excellence and student success at the forefront in institutional planning and policy development.

· Establishes and implements an evaluation system for all programs and services within the area of responsibility.

Provides vision, leadership, and implementation toward a seamless enrollment process for workforce and dual enrollment students.

Oversees efforts in identifying and implementing creative recruitment strategies designed to meet student enrollment goals specifically focused on Workforce and Dual Enrollment pathways.

Qualifications and Experience to apply:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of senior level management experience in post-secondary education is required with a background in academics, student affairs and enrollment management preferred.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills
  • Must possess excellent organizational decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency (word processing, spreadsheet, and database systems)
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively, harmoniously, and cooperatively with colleagues, faculty and staff

Additional Requirements:

A valid Louisiana Driver’s License

Proof of motor vehicle insurance

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
