Emergency,
Critical Care, and
Urgent Care teams!
Our
Emergency and
Critical Care teams collaborate across specialties to provide comprehensive care for emergent cases. These teams staff the hospital 24 hours a day, so you are sure to be able to find a shift that suits your lifestyle. We also have an
Urgent Care team to handle those non-critical cases that just can’t wait until the morning. You never know what is going to come through the door!
While previous experience in ECC or Specialty is preferred, we are happy to train experienced nurses from general practice who are ready to expand their knowledge and fully utilize their skillset. We have the resources to support you should you want to pursue RVT licensure or specialize with your VTS.

Basic Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60-days of hire or transfer into this role; (this requirement is waived if incumbent holds a valid CA-RVT license)
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time
- 4/10 schedule Available!
- Day, Swing and Overnight shifts Available!
Compensation:
The best deserve to get paid as such. Let our generous differentials get you to where you want to be!
- Our swing shift differentials are $3/hour
- Our overnight shift differentials are $5/hour
- Pay range $22-40 an hour
- The rates above are our pay range for this role for all types of services we provide and all areas in which we do business in in California. It is important to note that while all sites will be able to offer rates within this range, not all sites will be able to offer the exact same rates.
