Hometown Animal Hospital of Frisco, Tx is seeking a talented Veterinary Technician to become an integral part of our team! With this position you will get to utilize your skills to assist our DVM in providing excellent patient care and client education. Our clients and patients are our top priority, and we want our candidate to understand the human-animal bond.
Summary:
The veterinary technician role at our practice is responsible for providing exceptional patient care. They will be responsible for assisting the DVM in appointments, monitoring patients in surgery, radiographs, dental prophylaxis/dental x-rays, client education, record keeping, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and general flow of clinic day-to-day operations. They will be expected to work independently, efficiently, and successfully with the team.
Qualifications:
· Veterinary technician (1 years preferred)
· Customer service skills (1 year preferred)

Job Description:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on and off throughout the day. Work environment includes stooping, bending, standing for long periods of time.
