- comfortable answering phones and multitasking
- able to greet clients professionally and with a friendly, welcoming demeanor
- comfortable around animals and willing to help walk dogs to the back or an exam room
- learns quickly and capable of working independently
- able to handle stress well and remain calm in front of distressed clients
- detail oriented and responsible with handling payments
- flexible and willing to adapt to the different styles of our Veterinarians and technicians
- self-driven and looks for ways to help coworkers
- answer all incoming calls and take messages when directed
- enter appointment information into the computer and schedule appointments
- greet clients and check them in
- locate client files and have them ready for the technicians/doctors
- refile client files after the technicians/doctors are finished with them
- check clients out and process payments
- reconcile the cash drawer at the end of the day
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends
Work Location: In person
