Holmdel Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned doctor practice currently seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist. We are a small practice with a family like environment. The desired candidate will be friendly and motivated, will have excellent customer service skills.

A minimum of 2 to 3 years prior experience as a veterinary receptionist is required to be considered for the available opening. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Holmdel Veterinary Clinic is an exclusively fast growing small animal practice that specializes in providing high quality, compassionate and convenient care for our patients. As a full service practice, we provide wellness and sick examinations, immunizations, surgery and dentistry, digital radiography, and in house laboratory and pharmacy services. We recognize the importance of the relationships between humans and animals and view our clients and patients as extended family.

Veterinary receptionist duties include, but are not limited to:

- Scheduling all appointment types and procedures

- Handing multi line telephone system, answering and triaging client phone calls

- Communicating with veterinarian and other staff members regarding client/patient medical matters and concerns

- Checking clients/patients in for appointments

- Invoicing and discharging clients

- Providing basic client education when appropriate

Avimark knowledge is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
