  • Full Time: Full time, 40 hours
  • Hours: hours anywhere between 8:30am-6:30pm, depending on time of groups.

What you will need:

  • License: Active license in the state of Illinois in social work or counseling (LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC)
  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
  • Experience:
  • 2 years post-graduate preferred. Experience in individual, family and group therapy with psychiatric population. Experience in psychiatric case management , assessment/intakes and insurance utilization review preferred.
  • knowledge regarding insurance case management and payer requirements and knowledge/experience with utilization review ;
  • Skills: Manages utilization review for each case as needed.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to provide holistic, individualized patient care using therapeutic interventions, specifically CBT and DBT
  • Provide accurate and thorough psychosocial assessment that are consistent with age and developmental status
  • Provides counseling to patients and their families
  • Leads and facilities group sessions within the program parameters
  • Discharge planning
  • Initial assessments and intakes;
  • Performs case management services (insurance, discharge planning, collaboration with schools and outside services)
  • Able to document all actions taken in the patient's medical record per department and medical record standards
